As the logo itself describes that this browser is for windows 10. It is also available on windows 10 mobile, Xbox live replacing internet explorer and as a Default browser.

Its user interface is much simple and it also uses the bing search engine for instance.

It has new features and even integration with Cortana, reading mode and annotation mode.

Its initial release on windows 10 OS ( desktop ) on march 30 2015.

                                     

About the edge’s performance: In July 2015, it scored 377 out of 555 points under an HTML test whereas chrome and firefox 479 and 434 respectively .
                                          

The development for this browser took started in December 2014 while it was first considered to be spartan.

The cool things about this browser are it also supports PDF files and it is default PDF opener in Windows 10.

This browser doesn’t support legacy technologies such as ActiveX and Browser helper Objects and will instead use an extension system. This browser doesn’t support even video calls and voice calls in some sites like messenger.com or etc.

It is much easier than going on search for the option in system settings and getting too frustrated .. just follow these commands properly and enjoy.
