HOW TO HIDE A FOLDER USING CMD
( not visible even in View)
Generally if we hide a Folder in Library , all of us know how
to see the hidden files by choosing View
, anyone can unhide that folder and the privacy is lost .
This is the best method to hide folders even in View
Go a head and enjoy ~~~~
~~~ Run your CMD as an Administrator
~~~ Run your CMD as an Administrator
[ windows+r gives run there click CMD or search for CMD in
start and right click on it and Run as administrator]
STEPS :
1. First create
your Folder in your desired location
2. Then open
cmd as administrator
3. Goto the
file location ( D; enter F: enter etc )
4. Now type
this command
Attrib +h +s +r ~~~~
[ ~~~~ means the folder name : Eg : attrib +h +s +r
gayyali
In my case , folder is Gayyali ]
Now check in View :
It is not showing
To unhide that folder the command is
~~~~ attrib -h -s -r ~~~~
[ just replace + with – Eg: attrib -h -s -r gayyali ]
Congrats now you done the task :
This is impossible to detect
